Glitter, Twinkle, Sparkle, Shine

I love when inspiring words or quotes are on display. Whether mounted on a wall, written on a piece of fabric or clothing, or inscribed in wood or on a picture-frame, I love it.

I spotted this framed picture when my husband and I were out to brunch over the weekend.

Here we have several words that I think embody the essence of my blog, “a sparkly bit of everything.”

Here’s what these four words mean to me. What do they mean to you?

Glitter ~ tubes of glitter, sunshine dancing on the ocean,  piles of diamonds

Twinkle ~ a small, pretty light in a nursery/bedroom, the stars in the sky, that light in someone’s eye when they smile

Sparkle ~ my engagement ring, a person who is exuberant, positive, and makes you feel good just by being in their presence, bubbles in a glass of champagne

Shine ~ the sun’s glare off the hood of a car on a hot summer day, a beautiful song that is sung passionately and emotionally, God’s love and warmth

How do you light up the world?

What are your gifts?

What does it feel like to you to “glitter” or “shine”?

Much love,
